Dedication to Light

Dedication to Light

Hanukkah: a celebration in the Jewish faith for the eight days that the oil burned brightly. One of my favorite holidays, Hanukkah embodies the light and the spirit of hope, altruism, and perseverance that I want to absorb and practice daily.

2017 has surely been a rollercoaster. I’ve had my fair share of creativity, adventures, and connections that inspired me to start Strikes of Luck on December 22, 2015. Two years later, I’ve graduated from Furman, emerged into the “real world,” and created for community while simultaneously smiling for serendipity.

The theme here in my little corner of the online world: embracing the lucky strikes in each day will continue to open new doors, to forge new relationships, and to explore new sunrises and sunsets. I strive to provide an optimistic outlook through the power of serendipity, which includes all of the moments, big, little, and in between.

This year, the holidays took on a new meaning: one of collaboration. Thanks to wonderful artistry, intentional partnerships, and quite a few Instagram boomerangs, I’m so excited to present my Hanukkah reflection through these photos.
