If you follow me on Instagram, even if you've only followed me for a little while, you KNOW that my favorite place in the entire world is Tandem. Tandem Crêperie and Coffeehouse, to be exact. #togetherisbest

Of course, when I saw that Tandem had Fourth of July crêpes, I couldn't resist. Here's the story of another adventure with Natalie, photography, and food:

We (Natalie + Jacob + Sarah) met at 11:30 am on Monday, July 3rd. Yes, I know that it wasn't on July 4th, but the spirit was still there. Decked out in our red, white, and blue attire with a little added flair, we ate these three crêpes (link to the menu is here):

Natalie, crêpe on top: Fiesta- Shredded chicken, black beans, and cheese, topped with fresh salsa and sour cream

Sarah, crêpe on bottom left: Red, White, and Blueberries- Blueberry cream (originally key lime, but I substituted blueberry), blueberries, raspberry drizzle, and whipped cream

Jacob, crêpe on bottom right: Lumberjack- Ham, bacon, eggs, and cheese, topped with maple syrup and béchamel

In addition to celebrating crêpes, my favorite kind of celebration, we also dressed for the occasion and did a mini photo shoot. Many thanks to Jacob for his great photography skills.

Natalie and I love to laugh. So much so that we take photos like the one above. I loved reconnecting with her, hearing about her trip to Spain with Jacob, and reveling in our appreciation for good food and good photos.

Fun fact: all sides of Tandem (inside, outside, and all around) are photogenic.

One of my favorite parts of spring and summer are the blooming flowers everywhere. These caught my eye outside of Tandem because they celebrate a great season.

Natalie and I had to recreate the photo above because we took a similar photo at Taylors Mill when we first met and adventured. These Instagram friendships are real and great and beneficial. I love Instagram because I have the opportunity to connect with so many lovely people from different definitions. When we meet, it's the definition of #togetherisbest.
